The Last of Most awaited changes in Kathmandu

    Around five years ago, people of Kathmandu had long wanted three changes in Kathmandu Valley. Almost everyone would be complaining to make such changes occur. And these were halt in load-shedding, halt in strikes by political parties, and the last, as you might have guessed is the halt in pollution; specifically air pollution.     Halt in load-shedding was quite a challenge, particularly because of solar panel and generator businesses, perhaps candle business too. But it took one bold guy, backed by an honest minister(or at least seen as honest) and reputation hungry prime-minister to do what had to be done.    Strikes by political parties have not yet halted, but the reduction in such strikes is on the process. This was accomplished, as I deduce, by the people themselves who denied strikes despite the threats. Educational institutions have become an easy target for vandalists to threaten and impose educational strike. But that is quite okay, because ...
