Uranium of Nepal, Just a Fantasy?

Ever wondered how rich Nepal is? Yes, if you are here following links on internet and having some research, the absolutely correct answer is a big “YES”.
This article literally doesn’t calculate the total amount of money in Nepal (I can’t), but it does calculate its some part of potential wealth in different forms and not just money!
For a country with GDP per capita of Rs 2.5 lakhs i.e. just a tiny 5% of the world’s average, mining Uranium is not even near to easy.
But with the help of international investors from around the world, Nepal could explore and see what’s behind the mountains that give off radioactive radiations.
11% of the total electricity is from Nuclear power. Canada, Kazakhstan and Australia are the top three countries with largest Uranium mines. A gram of uranium could fuel a car for nearly a hundred years. However, no one has been able to do so yet. Well, because of technical problems.
Uranium mine has been confirmed in Upper Mustang by the Department of Mines and Geology. Yet, the quality and quantity are to be known. Preliminary studies have suggested 25 total locations in Nepal where Uranium ore could be found.
Only limited research has been done in these areas not only because of lack of infrastructure but also because of it being a political issue and government secrecy.
Mining the ores is possible with the aid of foreign investments, but most of it has to be done by the Nepalese themselves since it has been a political issue. This would also help keep Nepalese people within the territory and not flee to outside for employment opportunities. Nepal would get a chance to taste better engineering in Nepal. This is more important than anything else.
The possible outcome is a thing of future. But it has to be tried, at least. Let  Nepali Uranium not just be a fantasy!
